2004-03-04||9:19 p.m. ::\How Many Times Do You See Eyes Filled With True Love?/:: I lie myself down on the bed and close my weary eyes. A fuzzy image seems as if to drift towards me. I strain to focus, and it gradually sharpens. The shape of a woman wearing an old shawl shifts into focus, and a little child huddling next to the woman comes into vision. The child is sitting with her legs drawn up to her chest and her eyes are on the woman. The expression in her eyes is filled with love and respect. The woman, however, does not seem to notice. She carries on reading the thin book in her hands, her eyes on the words in the book. Although I hear nothing, I feel as if the words are sifting through me, the warmth being caught while the coldness is sifted through. I smile to myself, quietly, happily. The warmth circles inside me, spreading to the edges of my fingertips, the very ends of my hair. I feel as if I am surrounded by a huge air bubble. The heat inside the bubble carresses me, never escaping, never dying. A caring mother telling her child a story. Such a scenario can actually warm someone's heart. Although they are not rich and well-off, they are still happy. How many times can you see a girl looking at her mother with her eyes filled with love? How many times can you actually find a mother reading to her child every night?
Common tests is finally over. *Sighs, then sits back luxuriously* =) The stress is gone and all. Finally! Hm... just realised yesterday was Juliet's birthday too. Hehe! Sorry Juliet!!! Happy belated birthday! =D
