::\Goodbye, My Friend/::

Goodbye, My Friend

Your face I see almost everyday,
Leaves an image which just never decays.
Your voice I hear in the mornings,
Leaves me a record that just keeps on playing.

The thought of not seeing you that often any longer,
Leaves me a bitter taste which just seems to forever linger.
The scene of me standing alone miles away from you,
Just increases my already deep wanting for you.

I imagine you laughing with new-found pals,
Then gradually ignoring most of my desperate calls.
I think of you walking out of my life and not looking back,
Then I can't help thinking what I would I do if it is you I lack.

The unique features of you I have memorised,
What if they suddenly turn on me with malice?
The words and advices you once said,
What if they were just filing past in a parade?

The time passes and our destination nears,
Maybe we should just part, leave behind the fears.
Gradually the train pulls to a stop and we both step out.
After a few silent seconds of tension, we both say goodbye out loud.

Has anyone seen The Truman Show before? o.O I haven't... but I'm pretty sure I've heard of it, although I can't remember where or whom from. o.O But, well, it's about this guy, Truman, whose life is actually fake. Well, people in his life are actually a cast. And he's the main character. Problem is, he doesn't know it. O.O That's the scariest part. Imagine if everyone around you now, your family, your friends, relatives, blahz... were all nothing but a LIE. Wow...
Ok, enough with The Truman Show. It's showing next Sunday on Channel 5. Hopefully I can watch it. o.O 8S *Crosses fingers*
Well... nothing else to say. So erm... yea. Weekend's almost over. *Sighs* Back to school tomorrow. Oh wellz...
