::\Just A Little Inspiration/::
So yesterday was a terribly busy day. I finally watched Big Fish. Gawd! It was so touching! I think I cried the most for that movie, out of all the movies I've watched. o.O The story's about this guy whose dad is dying of cancer. And well, his dad is a person full of stories. He tells his life with stories, he lives his life with stories. But his son doesn't really like his stories, he wants fact and not fiction. So yea... he remembers all the stories his dad told him and stuffies. And in the end, when his dad was in the hospital, on his deathbed, his dad told him to tell him the story of his death. And geez... he just started telling.
"You were lying on the hospital bed, and I was sleeping. I woke up, and you were awake. You seemed full of life, so vibrant. You didn't seem like you were dying. You got up quickly, telling me once we cleared the level, we were fine. I helped you out and we took the wheelchair. We ran past the doctors and the nurses. Upon reaching the lift, mom and Josephine appeared. You said there was no time to explain, and we ran into the lift while the two tried to stop the doctors. I pushed you to your car. The red one, and it looked new! I helped you in and got in myself. You said the lake and we raced there. We avoided the ____ road because there would probably be church traffic. And when we reached the lake, everyone you knew was there. Everyone you've told me about, the twin sisters, the witch. And I mean everyone! I carried you out of the car and towards the lake. Everyone was smiling, no one had a sad expression on their face! Everyone was waving and waving. Mom was standing in the middle of the lake with a brilliant smile on her face. I carried you to her, then past her. You then crossed your arms over your chest and closed your eyes. I released you into the lake and you became... this big fish! You swam around me, and finally swam away."
And then, after he told the story, his dad said that it was so right. Gawd... so damn touching! Geez... I still feel like crying when I recall that part. *Sobx* Erm... DJ didn't know I was crying till a tear of mine decided to fall on his hand. Bleahx... sorry honey! Geez... anyone who hasn't watch should watch it. I don't mind watching it again! D'oh! Rated 10/5!
Well after the movie, we went to Heeren to fix a hook onto the necklace DJ bought for me. =) Yay! Hehe! He paid for the stuffies. Thank yez! *Muacks* Hm... later, we walked over to Taka cos I promised to buy him a packet of Famous Amos cookies. =?Hope you liked them! He picked 50g of two types (forgot which two... bahz... hehe!), and I asked him why so little and he said it was enough. So kind! *Huggles* =) But really, I could've paid more if you wanted. =?Don't hafta be that shy, kies? Hehe! After that, I had to meet Joanne and co. at Bishan MRT station, so yep. We took the train over. It was still early, so we went to Juncton 8 for a short shopping trip. At about 5.15, we went back to the control station, and sure enough, Gab, Joanne, Tracy and Chun Kiat were there. Waited for Choo, Xiao Han, Claire, Hui Mun, Cai Yun and Winnie, then went to the supermarket cos Joanne wanted to buy something. But, in the end, she decided against it. No clue why? o.O Hm... took 40 to her grandad's house, where the bbq was gonna be held. =) We met Boon Hou, Chi Tung and Fei Fan on the bus. Epep! So yea... we were all just crapping around at the back of the bus. Hehe!
The house is NICE. Big, that's for one. Lol! Terribly big, although I don't exactly like the layout of the house. o.O Has a reeeeaaallly long corridor. o.O Then from the corridor, there're branches to the other parts of the house. Kinda weird. o.O Well... the whole 4LY gang (or group, I should say...) walked over to the pool and stuffies. We just walked... yea. Walked. *Shrugs* Then, they decided to start the bbq, so yep! We all went over to the pool again. The guys were apparently playing soccer on the erm... small stretch of green grass near the pool cos the street soccer court was taken up. Sad fer them! *Shrugs* Hm... Chi Tung was kinda clinging onto the fence around the street soccer court and salivating. Lol! Jk! =) It was a funny sight though. o.O Hehe! Aniwaez, yea... us girls just went to the bbq pit and sat around and chatted. *Shrugs* Not much to do, I guess. No bathing suits so yep! No swimming fer us. *Sighs* Sad, huh? Hehe!
Aniwaez, Cai Yun was eating this corn, and after she finished with the whole thing, she just looked around to see if anyone was looking and flung it behind her. LOL!! It was hilarious! Lmkso! Especially the look on her face after she'd flung it. Lol! After that, she went around looking for it. Lmkso!!! Lotsa lame things happened at the bbq. Hehe! That was one...
2. Xiang Long was talking to his gf on the phone. He was lying on one of those pool chairs and looking at the dark sky or something. Lol! And well, Fei Fan decided to creep up behind him to listen a little. Lol! He stayed there for quite awhile before Xiang Long found out and when he did, he yelled at Fei Fan and jumped up, then ran off to somewhere else to talk to his gf. Lol!!
3. Xiang Long was talking on the phone again with Pat beside him. Fei Fan decided to camouflage this time. He took a pool umbrella, those big ones, and kinda started creeping up to the two of them. Lol!! Just imagine! A pool umbrella bobbing up and down in the middle of nowhere! Lmkso!!! And well, I think the umbrella kinda covered Xiang Long's face or something, then he yelled at Fei Fan again and ran off. Lmkso!!! F-u-n-n-y! Lol!
4. This time, it ain't Fei Fan, but still Xiang Long. He was talking to Pat, I think. Either him or the phone. *Shrugs* Didn't see clearly. Lol! Chi Tung crept up behind him and yelled "BOO!". Lol!!! And guess what? Xiang Long shrieked (sissy-like) and jumped up. Lmkso!!! Lame shit! Geezers! Lmkso!!! Lame guys we've got in our class. Hehe! Oh wellz! Lol!
5. Totally different case this time. Lol! Boon Hou was throwing this small potato around. And well, he missed at one time and it rolled between Chi Tung's legs. Well... Chi Tung didn't know that until Boon Hou told him. And by that time, Choo Qi had already bent down to retrieve it. So yep! Both heads went GONG together. *Shrugs* Lol! Choo even said "Eh... I think I can hear an echo..." Lol!!! And Chi Tung retorted saying "Eee... ni de tou shi kong di!" Lol!! Goshens... the two of them. Poor Choo Qi! Hehe!
Hm... any other funny stuffies? Remind me people! Erm... those who went to the bbq, that is! Lol! Other than that, I just kinda sat around, dissing Cai Yun and getting dissed back by her. *Shrugs* Not much. Lol! But hilarious night. Hehe! My mom came to fetch me, so yep! Fetched Cai Yun back home and dropped Gabby and Choo at the bus stop near my house, so they could have a shorter ride home. =)
Well... not much else to say, I guess. Spent the morning playing GB. Kept losing... no clue why. Too rusty, I guess. *Sighs* Oh wellz... watched a Studio Ghibli movie in the afternoon while eating lunch. Erm... the title's something like... something something de shui yue. Can't remember. Oh wellz... I don't know the English title either so... *Shrugs* Hehe! Was kinda tired before watching the show, and well, got so bored by the show I went to sleep. =X Hehe! Well... after that, went to practise the piano and yep! Here I am! =) Okie dokies... nuffin else to say, so toodles!

I stand up on the top of the hill, looking down at the small neighbourhood of my childhood down below. The hot sun beats down on me, drenching my clothes in my own perspiration. Suddenly, a chilly north wind blows. Instinctively, I rub my arms together, only to feel my own stickiness. I grunted, then frowned and looked over my shoulder. The vast sea spread out, reaching the very ends of my vision and still continuing. I turn fully, mesmerized by the bright light I see wherever a sun ray hits the water's surface. The waves danced before my eyes, as if to a light happy tune. My weary heart yearned to dance along, but the strings attached did not allow it to. My eyes feasted on the green-blue of the water, taking in every little movement of the sea. The sprays caused by the crashing of the sea water on the sharp rocks. The biggest waves to the smallest ripples. I sighed, then returned my gaze to the neighbourhood, leaving the vast beauty of the sea behind. I then trudged back home on the trail that was trodden by few. Very few.
You catch me by the arm and swing me around. I squeal, struggling to get out of your grasp. I am filled with exasperation, the tears almost out of my eyes. But, do you let me off? No. You persist. You demand for the truth, the anger in your brown eyes increasing with every word. I cower, trying to get away, but fail to. The physical and emotional struggles fuse into one. I just want to get away, but you refuse to. You hold on to me tightly, sending streaks of pain up my arm. I scream, shrieking that I do not know. The next thing I know, I feel your palm come into contact with my cheek and a burning sting results. My cheek feels as if it had burst into a million fragments. My heart stops beating. I freeze, shocked. Time seems as if to stop. Your eyes look bewildered, as if you do not know what happened as well. Your hand drops to your side and remains there. The grip you have on my arm relaxes as well. I blink, then snatch my arm away from your hand. Without another word, I run off, the tears making rivers down my cheeks.
